Beginnings
Tony Silva has been tattooing for over 5 years now. I’ve been an artist my whole life, and am thankful everyday for the opportunity to make it my career.

Tony has been tattooing since early on. A tattoo artist for most of his life.
Tony Silva got his first tattoo at age 18 and was quickly hooked, getting his next four in succession until the money ran dry. Apprenticeships were
hard to come by when he realized he wanted to make this his life, and he struggled with working and constantly improving his portfolio.
After many failed attempts at collegiate life, and a brief dance with the music industry, Tony Silva focused his energy into something that always
interested him; tattooing. His portfolio found its way into the hands of Anthony D’Aiuto, owner of Resonance Tattoo, who took him under his wing and
showed him the ropes.
An artist for his entire life, his professional tattoo career began in 2006. Tony appreciates the diversity and opportunities that tattooing affords
him and strives constantly to improve and adapt, learning from other artists and friends as well as strangers and the elderly. He is well rounded and
loves the challenges that custom tattooing throws at him, he prefers to work drawings directly on skin with markers insuring everyone has a custom
one of a kind piece.

Tony is currently working at two different tattoo shops. He has and is currently tatted RoBear who is starring on the upcoming show NY Ink so look out for more of his work in June of 2011 when the show airs.
