Thomas Sinnamond

Thomas Sinnamond (born in a small town near Pittsburgh, USA in 1972)

Beginnings
After high school, he briefly attended the art institute of Pittsburgh majoring in visual communications. Inspired by the work of artists like Guy Aitchison, Marcus Pacheco and Aaron Cain, Thomas and a few friends opened Animus Tattoo Studio in the Autumn of 1994. Working first as a piercer, he began learning the basics of the trade from studio partner, Jim Peticca. He moved to Columbus in 2000 to work at Stained Skin Tattoo Studio. After two years there, Thomas, Gunnar and Hoffa went on to open Gods and Monsters. In September, 2002, Thomas moved to Chicago to work with James Kern at No Hope No Fear. He has been tattooing for seven years now and has received numerous awards for his work.
