Mike Pike
Beginnings
Mike grew up in a tattoo shop, owned by his dad, J.R. Grove. Mike laid down his first ink at the age of six, steadied by his dad’s hand, and began working in the family shop at age fourteen. After twelve years working for his dad, Mike opened his own shop in 1992. He builds his own tattoo machines and teaches the artists in his shop to do the same.
