Kevin Brady (Born and raised in San Francisco, California, USA)
Beginnings
Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Kevin played music, worked as a sign painter, did a bit of custom painting on midget racers, and a few other art related odd jobs, before he decided to pursue a career as a Tattooer. Having learned a lot about the tattoo biz from P.A. Stephens in Sacramento, Kevin has also worked at Danny Danzl’s place in Seattle, with the great Cliff Raven at Hollywood’s legendary Sunset Strip Tattoo. Hollywood is also where Kevin first worked with and met a great friend of his Gill Montie, who by the way shares the same birthday Dec. 18th 1954 year and all with Kevin. Recently these two have teamed up again in Beaumont TX at Gill Montie’s World Famous Tattoomania where Kevin is excited about tattooing along side Gill again. Now, they are also collaborating on a series of designs for World Tattoo Authority.

They have all been tattooed by the elusive Tattoo Legend Kevin Brady. Also, have you ever seen Motley Crue’s Dr. Feelgood album? That is Kevin Brady’s artwork.

Both my Wife and myself have been tattooed by Kevin … 2 great pieces to add to his collection of excellant work. Its been about 22 yrs. now. I’ve been wondering how he has been doing and where he is. Last I heard he was working with Gill again, then I just seen that he might be up in the Northeast.

Kevin is a great guy and killer artist. He also is the guy that tattooed the Red Roses on Cher’s butt! I met Kevin through a business associate ended up getting a sweet bicep tatt of my drum set (turns out KB plays drums too) w/ lots of multi colored Japanese clouds, lightning, smoke, fire off the drums that look like skulls- very cool, 20hrs worth! Kevin if you’re out there drop me a message would love to get more work done!
I have known Kevin for some years and just got a cover up done by him. I am so happy with it and can’t wait to get back there to get POKED by him again!
Kevin was one of the first artists I met that was encouraging and a positve force in my early years in our craft . such a nice person to talk to in an age when artists didnt seem to want to talk to other artists . I learned so much just looking at his artwork beyond the basics i was taught as an apprentice . glad i met Kevin and got to know him on a personal level as well . keep it flowing Kevin , you are still a daily inspiration to push this craft beyond the limits , and I am truley grateful .
