Jason Feuerhelm
Beginnings
“In 1990, I started tattooing when a shop opened around the corner from my house, It was a very busy shop and I learned as I worked.
My particular style is varied, so listing a preference is tough, I do a lot of everything, from black work to big bold color. As for other artists who influence me, I would have to say in tattooing Greg Irons, Philip Leu, and Bernie Luther, but they amaze more than influence me. As for artists outside the tattoo world, I would say Robert Williams, The Pizz, and David Mann, have all been a huge influence on me.
I went on my own in 1993. Despite overwhelming circumstances Appetite For Ink was created. I have moved a few times over the years, and have spent the last nine years, two blocks from where I started. What can I say? I like the neighborhood! I included a couple pics, one of me, one of me working, and one with my wife Chantol, and my favorite sideshow attraction SideShow Bennie.”
