Beginnings
“I did my first tattoo in 1979 and began tattooing full-time in 1984. In 1989, I co-founded Avalon Tattoo in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Eight years later, I opened Avalon Tattoo II in North Park, San Diego, where I have been working since.
I particularly like to do a good bit of custom work and Japanese style tattooing, in addition to portraits, animals, flowers, and other fun stuff. I have always felt it is important to be versatile as a tattoo artist. Trying to perfect a variety of different tattoo styles and art has kept me interested in the field.
Along with custom tattooing, I am available to do a variety of commissioned artwork including t-shirt designs, business cards, CD covers, band or event posters, etc. Contact me with your request and we will take it from there.”
